ISO 9001:2000

International Organization for Standardization is the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards, is a network of the national standard institutes of 157 countries Establish 23.02.1947 in Geneva. Between 1947 and the present day, ISO published more then 17000 International Standards for a lot of public sectors.

ISO 9001 is build on 4 basic standards. One of this is ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System - Requirements. Created in 2000 by ISO, supersedes ISO 9001:1994, ISO 9002:1994 and ISO9003:1994 norms.

Scope of Quality Management System - Exist 3 modules E, D and H , which require that „the manufacturer must operate an approved quality system”. The scope of the quality systems required by those modules addresses:

- Final product inspection and testing (module E)

- Production, final inspection and testing (module D)

- Design manufacture and final product inspection and testing (module H)

Exist possibility for excision of norm requirement per modules.
